Teak Dining Table
A two-meter solid teak dining table built to gather eight people around good food for generations.
This is the table the rest of the workshop is measured against: two meters of solid Panamanian teak, wide enough for serving dishes down the middle and eight chairs around it. The design stays quiet on purpose — clean lines, softened edges, and a top thick enough to feel permanent — so the wood and the people around it do the talking.
The top is glued up from thick teak boards, flattened by hand, and joined to the base with traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery — no visible hardware. Teak's natural oils make it forgiving of spills and highland humidity alike; the finish is a hand-rubbed oil that deepens the honey color and is easy to renew for decades.
