The simple Gospel
Our name comes from “sencillo” — simple — because the best news in the world is simple at its core.
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.”
The good news
The word gospel means good news. And the good news is this: God loves you, and He has made a way for you to be forgiven and to know Him.
All of us have broken God's perfect standard — every one of us has sinned, and sin separates us from a holy God. That's the bad news, and it's real. But God, because He loves the world, didn't leave us there.
What God did
God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to take the sins of mankind on Himself through His death on a cross. He was buried, and on the third day He rose from the dead. In placing our sin on Christ, God made a way for everyone who believes in Jesus to be forgiven — fully and forever.
It isn't earned by being good enough. It's received by believing: trusting that Jesus died for your sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord.
Why it's on this website
Because it's the reason this place exists. We didn't open a bike café to sell coffee — we opened it to love God and to love our neighbors, and that starts with sharing the best thing we have.
