The Highland Bed Frame is designed around quiet: a low, gently pitched headboard, a platform that needs no box spring, and proportions that let the wood grain be the only ornament in the room. This example is a queen (160 × 200 cm mattress); every bed is made to order in any standard size.
The rails join the posts with heavy interlocking joinery that can be knocked down for moving and pulls up tight with no squeaks — no metal brackets doing the real work. Slats are solid teak too, spaced for airflow in highland humidity, and the whole frame is finished in hand-rubbed oil.
